This Morning viewers watched on as one of the show’s callers plunged into a bath of custard after overcoming her 43 year phobia, before declaring herself the ‘Custard Queen’ and unveiling a surprise tattoo to mark the occasion.

A recent segment from the ITV show went viral after host Phillip Schofield laughed as a woman phoned in to confess her phobia of what she’d been forced to call “the yellow stuff.” The lady called Michelle explained to Phil and his co-host Rochelle Humes that she’d been terrified of custard for the past 43 years, and that even the mere mention of it made her retch.

But This Morning said they were there to help, as therapists Nick and Eva Speakman vowed to work with Michelle to overcome her unusual but intense phobia.
