Tottenham will not be pursuing long-time target Nicolo Zaniolo after Roma slapped a £62m asking price on his head. Spurs held talks about a swap deal involving Zaniolo and defender Toby Alderweireld last summer but ended up moving for other targets instead.The north London club have been tracking the highly-rated 20-year-old Italy midfielder ever since.But while Zaniolo could hit the market this summer because of money worries at Roma, Spurs believe he is overpriced and out of their budget.Jose Mourinho wants reinforcements brought in for next season but warned recently that he does not expect the club to spend big money.
