Kate Garraway has responded to the suggestion that she has 'paraded' her husband Derek Draper in front of the public. The TV presenter's latest documentary aired on ITV on Tuesday night.
Caring for Derek, a follow-up to her award-winning 2021 film Finding Derek, followed Kate as she became one of her husband's carers.
The programme picked up from the moment Derek, 54, returned home after more than 370 days in the hospital to be with Kate, also 54, and their two children Darcey and Billy. He spent 10 weeks in a coma and the virus caused significant damage to his body resulting in needing around-the-clock care. The moment Derek returned home in April 2021 was aired on the show, as well as the moment they celebrated his 54th birthday.
