Dumfries and Galloway residents have the chance to see the council in action tomorrow when a top level meeting will be screened online.
The ad hoc Covid-19 sub committee was set up to keep local authority business going amid the Scottish Governent’s lockdown rules on large gatherings.Now councillors will appear on webcasts and the public can tune in from 10.30am when the meeting kicks off tomorrow.Among the items up for discussion are: an economic recovery update; Covid-19 financial Pressures; the implications for early learning and childcare; regeneration capital grant fund for 2021/22 plus Common Good Fund issues.Council Leader Elaine Murray said: “During the Covid-19 emergency, the public can watch our committee meetings from the safety.
