London car parking space next to luxury store Harrods has gone on the market for an eye-watering £85,000.The tiny space is only two metres wide – meaning it will be a tight squeeze for most vehicles and only a convertible will slot in comfortably. It has been listed on Rightmove under the description: “A single allocated parking space with in a small garage which is sandwiched between Rutland Gate and Ennismore Mews. “The space is approximately 2 metres wide by 5.5 metres long, with good height." According to the listing, it also boasts two automated gates operated by fobs, as well as CCTV and access to water.

The lease for the parking spot lasts for an unnecessarily long 660 years. But London isn’t the only astronomically-priced city in the world at the moment – earlier this year, a miniscule property that resembles a kid’s playhouse was listed in Sydney for £200 a week. The bedsit-style property is located on the waterfront of Bundeena, south Sydney, which is listed as one of the most expensive locations to live in Australia.According to Ray White, who posted the details online, the flat is hidden away in the landlord's backyard and includes electricity and water. But baffled social media users slammed the combined living space. One person wrote: "Legit thought it was a kid's cubby house."Whilst another fumed: "The property market is disgusting and you see every week, like every week the property investors selling and buying like crazy making the houses and apartments more and more expensive.” Stay in the loop with all the Daily Star's craziest news by signing up to one of our free newsletters here.
