Lanarkshire MSP urges community to have their say on Scotland's future cancer strategy

Christina McKelvie, MSP for Hamilton, Larkhall and Stonehouse has urged the community to take part in the Scottish Government consultation on Scotland's future cancer strategy.The consultation will run until June 7 and will help to set out priorities for the services as recovery from the pandemic continues.Since the pandemic there has been an increase in urgent suspicion of cancer referrals and, to deal with this increased demand, the Scottish Government and NHS have deployed new ways of working across health boards with an increasing regional and national approach to services.The Lanarkshire Live app is available to download now.
