Three people had high-value watches stolen in street robberies in Trafford. Officers believe the incidents - which happened in broad daylight in neighbouring villages in the last month - are linked.
They suspect people are being targeted for expensive watches. Police say the most recent incident happened at around 2pm on Sunday (May 3) on Bankhall Lane in Hale.
The victim, a 48-year-old man, was walking down the street with his wife when he was approached by three masked. The men stole the victim’s watch fleeing in a dark-coloured Ford Focus onto Broad Lane, heading towards Hale Road.
The man wasn't hurt, but he and his wife were left shaken. Police have not released descriptions of the watched, but say all were of 'high value'.
