direct to your inboxTwo people have been taken to hospital following a crash on a busy road in Trafford.Emergency crews were called to Hale Road, in Hale Barns, following a crash involving two cars at around 12.20pm today (December 21).Police, ambulance and fire crews are currently in attendance.The road was blocked in both directions for around 30 minutes and traffic was queueing between Shay Lane, near Ringway Golf Club, and Broad Lane close to St Ambrose College.A North West Ambulance Service spokesman said paramedics were called at 12:21 to reports of a two car road traffic collision.“We’ve taken two patients to hospital,” they said.The extent of their injuries is not yet known.A spokesperson for Greater Manchester Fire and Rescue
