It would appear that nothing is going to stop Apple from continuing to finance and distribute A-lister films. In a world where Netflix and other streaming services are tightening their purse strings, Apple is out there making mega deals left, right, and center.

And that’s good news for folks like Jennifer Lawrence. According to Deadline, Jennifer Lawrence is set to star in and produce a new murder mystery film, “The Wives.” And yes, it’s being picked up by Apple Studios.
