Greater Manchester Police has revealed how victims of domestic abuse can 'silently' report it to them by pressing two numbers on their phone key pads during lockdown.
The force said coronavirus is an "extremely challenging situation for everyone. We are faced with a rapidly changing environment, with new challenges and different messages every single day." It said with families spending more time at home, there is "an increased risk of domestic abuse towards both children and adults." The coronavirus outbreak has left many people across Greater Manchester struggling for access to food, basics and other support.
