The fighting 11-year-old girl who has gone viral on TikTok
manchestereveningnews.co.ukA mum-of-two has spoken about her talented daughter who has gone viral on Tik Tok. Videos of Amelia Star Furness’ boxing skills and her relationship with her younger sister Kacie who has cerebral palsy have racked up thousands of views on the social media platform.
Still only 11, Amelia has seen a lot of ‘upheaval’ in her life. When she was four, her mother mother Raegan Furness gave birth to Kacie on the sofa of their home. Kacie, now seven, has level five cerebral palsy, epilepsy, was born with hypoxic-ischaemic encephalopathy (HIE), finds it unsafe to swallow and also has global developmental delay.
Since the age of four Amelia, has been able to care for her sister including peg feeding her and performing CPR. However, mum Raegan started noticing that Amelia’s behaviour was declining with sheer amount of responsibility at such a young age.
