A distressed Vietnamese woman appealed to passersby for help after she escaped a house where she was forced to be a sex worker.
The woman fled from an unknown property where she was being ordered to perform sexual acts and was found on Littleton Road in Salford following a journey across Greater Manchester.
It is unknown where she started but officers say the woman walked for 26 hours before taking three buses across the region. At least one of these journeys took around half an hour.
Eventually, members of the public offered her food and money when she bravely stopped to ask for help. Now, detectives have launched a modern day slavery investigation and want to speak to anyone who recalls speaking with or seeing this woman across Greater
