The grand final of the new NBC music competition series American Song Contest aired on Monday (May 9) and the winner has been revealed.
The U.S. version of the international megahit Eurovision featured live original musical performances, representing all 50 states, five U.S.
territories and our nation’s capital, competing to win the country’s vote for the Best Original Song. During the first five weeks, the 56 contestants performed their songs and the competition was narrowed down to the Top 22, who made it to the semi-finals.
