Simon Phillip Cowell (born 7 October 1959) is an English television personality, businessman and record executive. Britain's Got Talent contestant has slammed the show and described it as 'fixed', after she finished in sixth place.Hollie Steel, now 23, appeared on the third series of the TV talent competition when she was just 10 years old.The series, which aired in 2009, was well-known for its contestants Susan Boyle and dance troupe Diversity, who were crowned winners.Hollie made it all the way to the show's final after she stunned judge Simon Cowell with her rendition of Wishing You Were Somehow Here Again from Phantom of the Opera.Her beautiful classical singing voice was a big hit with the public, but sadly, her performance in the show's semi-final didn't go to plan.Viewers will remember the heart breaking moment when Hollie burst into tears during her performance of Eidelweiss from The Sound of Music.She asked Ant and Dec if she could start the song again.In a TikTok video that recently went viral, Hollie explained she was stopped from singing the songs she wanted to by BGT bosses, "because they didn't want me to win".Hollie went on to say that Eidelweiss "wasn't a song I'd ever heard of before."She added: "I wanted to sing Nessun Dorma, like a massive opera song, like BAM, I'm here.
