In 2010, the LP was shortlisted for the Mercury Prize.

Counting Crows have announced a 2025 UK, European and North American tour, titled ‘The Complete Sweets! Tour’.The band announced the news on social media today, confirming that the tour will follow their next album ‘Butter Miracle, the Complete Sweets!’, which is their first full-length project since 2014’s ‘Somewhere Under Wonderland’. ‘Butter Miracle, the Complete Sweets!’ is expected to be released on May 9.The new album follows 2021’s EP ‘Butter Miracle, Suite One’.

The hurricane resulted in an estimate of 221 deaths and $78.7 billion in damages.Now, a new compilation album ‘We Love It Here’ has been released to raise funds for Lamplight AVL – a nonprofit that supports those in Asheville’s arts community impacted by the disaster.

Check out the details below.The new show is set to take place in partnership with Amazon Music, as part of the latest run of City Sessions.Held at the Aviva Studios in Manchester, the indie folk band will be taking to the stage on Wednesday April 2 for a performance that will be streamed live on Prime Video and the Amazon Music UK channel on Twitch.It comes in celebration of the group’s forthcoming album ‘RUSHMERE’, which is set for release on March 28 via Island/Glassnote (pre-order/pre-save here).The LP follows 2018’s ‘Delta’, and has already been previewed with the title track and the single ‘Malibu’.

Check out the details below.The release is set to be shared on April 18 via Reprise, and comes as a live recording and companion piece to the documentary from his ‘Coastal’ 2023 solo tour.Titled ‘Coastal: The Soundtrack’, it includes 11 songs from across the singer-songwriter’s 60-year career – all of which recorded live at the live shows and including hits like ‘I Am A Child’ and ‘Vampire Blues’. Across the soundtrack, Young is heard on vocals, piano, guitars and harmonica.“It is as intimate a live album as Neil Young has ever recorded, created at a time when the world was coming out of hibernation from the COVID pandemic,” reads a new press description.

Tom Waits has made a rare appearance on a new documentary about homelessness, in which he also performed songs from his catalogue.The singer-songwriter appeared in the latest episode of Italian television series The Human Factor, which takes a focus on homelessness in the US south.Waits appeared in the episode to perform two songs – ‘The Fall Of Troy’, a song he wrote and recorded for 1995 film Dead Man Walking, along with ‘Tom Traubert’s Blues’, taken from his 1976 album ‘Small Change’.For the latter song, Waits also discussed the origin of its famous hook “Waltzin’ maltida” and its story – about a deeply-troubled vagabond named Tom Traubert with an alcohol addiction.“I am an individual who is deeply concerned with the inequities as we all are, but ill equipped to solve any of them,” Waits said in an official statement.“I tell the world in the only way I know how: through my music.
