The Vauxhall Corsa caught fire on waste land off Hillier Street North in Harpurhey on Tuesday night. Firefighters were called to the scene at 7.49pm.
Pictures from the scene show smoke billowing from the car. Firefighters from Blackley spent about 10 minutes extinguishing the blaze before handing over the scene to Greater Manchester police.
