Google Earth.The inhabitants of Norfolk Road in Barnsley, South Yorkshire, had no idea that their estate resembled a man's genitalia until they saw it in satellite images.
The owner of a local pub - the Sandhill Tavern - said they were not even aware that the bird's-eye view of the area looked like their premises were being 'urinated on.' It's a weird situation! I've never given it any thought as I didn't know. I think everyone would be more or less in the same boat and wouldn't have noticed. "It's not really that kind of village though.
