John Michael "Ozzy" Osbourne (born 3 December 1948) is an English singer, songwriter, actor and television personality. He rose to prominence during the 1970s as the lead vocalist of the heavy metal band Black Sabbath, during which he adopted the nickname "The Prince of Darkness".

Osbourne was fired from the band in 1979 due to alcohol and drug problems, but he went on to have a successful solo career, releasing eleven studio albums, the first seven of which were all awarded multi-platinum certifications in the United States. Osbourne has since reunited with Black Sabbath on several occasions.

Sharon Osbourne has revealed why she's returning to British television since her controversial exit from CBS' The Talk.The former X Factor judge, 69, has signed up to front a major new current affairs primetime panel show, also named The Talk, which will air weeknights on TalkTV.The programme will bring together five opinionated famous faces – all from different backgrounds and with differing views – to debate the most interesting stories of the day.

Opening up about her decision to come back to the UK, Sharon told press at TalkTV's launch event: "It feels right. I've been very homesick for a while and it's a joy to go back.
