The second victim of the Reading terror attack has been named as an American expat who lost his husband to colon cancer six years ago.
Joe Ritchie-Bennett, 39, was from the US city of Philadelphia and had been living in the UK for 15 years, working for a Dutch pharmaceutical company based in Reading.
His late husband Ian, 32, died in December 2014 after a short battle with colon cancer. Mr Ritchie-Bennett was enjoying the sunshine in Forbury Gardens with friends, including fellow victim James Furlong, when they were attacked just before 7pm on Saturday.
