Atletico Madrid their 1-0 lead over Manchester United in the Champions League. The BT Sport pundit, 47, slammed the awful positioning of Atleti goalkeeper Jan Oblak who was caught in no man's land as Anthony Elanga netted his first European goal.Played through on goal via a pinpoint pass from Bruno Fernandes, the teenager coolly slotted past Oblak to level the match ahead of the second leg tie at Old Trafford in three weeks' time.

And while Savage was impressed by Elanga's first-time finish he couldn't help but feel the poor goalkeeping played a part in United's equaliser."Wow, it’s Elanga.

Fantastic finish," said Savage."Ronaldo with the little cushioned header to win the ball and I think it was Fred into Fernandes and then the run from Elanga."You got to say Oblak comes across way too far to that near post."Elanga, he looks at the goalkeeper and he just slides it.

Oblak is miles too far across but I tell you what cool, calm - what a goal for Manchester United."HAVE YOUR SAY! Will Manchester United advance to the quarter-finals of the Champions League?
