Scottish Government published the figure alongside a note that Register Offices are now generally closed at weekends.They also announced 584 new cases of coronavirus in Scotland over the past 24 hours bringing the total number of cases since start of the pandemic to 185,792.There have now been a total of 6,438 deaths in Scotland since the start of the pandemic.There are 1,710 people in hospital with recently confirmed COVID-19 and 108 in intensive care.Earlier today Health Secretary Jeane Freeaman 108 said all Scots could be vaccinated against coronavirus “in the summer”.However she refused to say what that could mean in terms of restrictions being lifted – simply reiterating the Government would be focused on getting pupils back into.
