In Louisiana, a school district is being accused of indoctrination after students were brought to an anti-trans church service under the guise of college and career preparation.On September 20, over 2,100 students from the East Baton Rouge Parish School System were told they were going to a “College and Career Fair.”The permission slip included the address, however, it failed to mention the address belonged to Living Faith Christian Center.According to Alexis Budyach, a student at Baton Rouge Magnet High, “majority of students chose to attend this field trip on the promise of free food and the opportunity to skip class, however the majority of students were not only disappointed by this event, but traumatized as well. I attended this college fair as someone who plans on applying to colleges soon, so I was disappointed once I saw what the event actually was.”Woodlawn High teacher Brittney Byrant, who attended as a chaperone with her transgender child, posted about the event.“Boys were instructed to go outside while the girls were left in the church for ‘girl talk’.

Mystikal has pleaded not guilty to charges accusing him of raping and choking a woman at his home in Louisiana, as well as possessing several drugs.The 51-year-old performer, whose real name is Michael Tyler, is innocent of all charges, lawyer Joel Pearce said after the hearing in Ascension Parish Court in Gonzales, Louisiana, about 15 miles from Baton Rouge.The charges against the Grammy-nominated rapper include first-degree rape, which carries an automatic life sentence. He was arrested July 30 in connection with the incident, according to authorities.  The latest: Mystikal has pleaded not guilty to charges accusing him of raping and choking a woman at his home in Louisiana, as well as possessing several drugs Pearce said he has not been able to get copies of the two indictments, but they were read aloud in court.Charges also include simple criminal damage to property, false imprisonment, domestic abuse battery by strangulation, simple robbery, possession of heroin, marijuana, methamphetamine and Xanax, and possession of drug paraphernalia, he said.

Landry, 35, who says she never closes a case until it’s solved, is featured in the new Netflix docuseries “I Just Killed My Dad,” for her role in locating Templet’s biological mother, Teresa Thompson, 12 years after he was kidnapped from his home in Houston, Texas.

New Orleans Grammy-nominated rapper was arrested on charges of rape, assault, and false imprisonment.Born Michael Lawrence Tyler, the 52-year-old is being held without bond in jail and is scheduled for a bond hearing this afternoon.According to arrest records, this time Tyler is being charged with two misdemeanors and three felonies, which include domestic abuse battery via strangulation, first-degree rape, and simple robbery.Tyler was arrested late Saturday night in Baton Rouge after officers had previously “responded to an area hospital in reference to a sexual assault.” When the detectives were able to interview the victim, they ascertained that she had “sustained minor injuries during the attack,” and Tyler was named as a suspect per Sheriff Bobby Webre’s press release.The arrest warrant described the assault—stating that an acquaintance of Tyler was visiting him at his Prairieville home. Allegedly, Tyler accused her “stealing $100 cash from him before punching her, choking her, pulling braids out of her hair and taking her keys and phone to prevent her from leaving,” a local news affiliate reported.Then, the victim started to frantically search for the missing cash in an attempt to calm Tyler.
