Scott Taylor has died after a two-year battle with a brain tumour. Rising to fame in the 80s with their album First (The Sound Of Music), Taylor was the guitarist for Brit rock band Then Jerico.
Having been "gravely ill" for several years, Taylor was discharged from the hospital just a few weeks before his death. Originally playing for singer-songwriter Belouis Some, Taylor was "poached" by Then Jerico frontman Mark Shaw in 1983.
With Taylor on guitar, the band was fronted by singer Shaw, while Jasper Stainthorpe played bass and Steve Wren manned the drums.
Their hit singles Muscle Deep and The Motive featured on the UK Top 40 chart after their release in 1987. His former bandmates paid tribute to the musician over Instagram, praising
