Scarlett Moffatt has revealed that she is a proud Christian and is confident discussing the role religion plays in her life.
The I’m A Celebrity... Get Me Out Of Here winner also said that after taking part in a “thought-provoking” spiritual journey on TV she now feels able to talk about Christianity on social media.
Previously, Scarlett admitted that she was afraid to open up about her faith to her fans as it carries quite a “stigma” and “isn’t really cool”.
The 31-year-old recently took part in the BBC show Pilgrimage where various celebrities travel across the Scottish Highlands to learn about Saint Columbia - a key figure in British Christianity.She told The Sun: “I wanted other people who are religious to know who I am and what I am about.“Because of my age and because part of my job is being a social media influencer - and you have to balance what you put on social media - I would say, ‘Yeah, I believe in God,' and play it down a little bit.
