Kendrick Lamar has released his long-awaited new album Mr. Morale & The Big Steppers and, as ever with the Compton rapper, there is a lot to unpack.
Much of the intrigue around an album of this stature is just who Lamar would choose to work with on the follow-up to his Pulitzer Prize–winning 2017 full-length Damn.
The album arrived on Friday, May 13, and has been dubbed his final album for Top Dawg Entertainment. As if to pave the way for the future, Mr.
Morale & The Big Steppers includes appearances from a number of artists affiliated with his new “multi-lingual, at service company” pgLang, including Baby Keem and Tanna Leone.
