A crafty mother has come up with an affordable way to have a quarantining elf on the shelf, and it involves using a condom. Sapphire Grimes-Williams, 24, loved the idea of putting the elf inside a large balloon and then allowing her daughter Alayla Kelly to pop it once the santa’s helper had completed a two-week quarantine period.
