Hi Ruth. How’ve the past few months been for you? How’ve you navigated the pandemic as an artist? Have there been any challenges to overcome?“It’s definitely been different.
In terms of making music it’s really changed everything. Before the pandemic I was living in New York and for the most part recording and writing out there.
When the pandemic hit I decided to come back home to Alberta. It was definitely a culture shock.“Ultimately it was nice for me because it brought me back to my roots in terms of writing by myself and fro home with my own keyboard.
It was challenging but in a way I’m glad in terms of what it did for my music.”You’ve released your new album Moments In Between via Downtown Records.
