Journalist and radio personality Bibi Baskin has revealed that she has made the decision to retire, stepping away from her career as she comes up to her 70th birthday.
Bibi, from Co Donegal, was the first woman in Ireland to host her own television chat show after she presented Bibi, which later turned to It’s Bibi in the late 1980s and early 90s on RTÉ.

In 1998, Bibi returned to RTÉ where she began presenting The Saturday Show, and has become known around the broadcaster as the ‘legendary redhead’, but now she is ready to hang up her microphone.
