Rush Limbaugh, a famed conservative radio host, died on Wednesday, February 17. He was 70 years old.The Missouri native succumbed to his year-long battle with lung cancer while at his home in Palm Beach, Florida, Us Weekly can confirm.
He was surrounded by family at the time of his death.Limbaugh’s wife, Kathryn Adams Limbaugh, confirmed his death on his namesake radio show.
She also released a statement via her husband’s official Facebook page.“We, the Limbaugh family, are deeply saddened to announce that our beloved Rush has died,” the statement read. “Rush Hudson Limbaugh III will forever be the greatest of all time, a courageous, brilliant gentle giant and radio pioneer.
