The killing of DJ Jam Master Jay in 2002 may finally have seen those responsible charged with the alleged murder. Prosecutors have reportedly announced that the Run-DMC star, whose real name was Jason Mizell, was shot and killed after a cocaine deal 'went wrong'.
The 37-year-old hip hop star died inside a Queens recording studio in October 2002. Now, the New York Times has reported that two men, Ronald Washington and Karl Jordan Jr, have been charged with the murder of Jam Master Jay, while engaged in drug trafficking.
TMZ has reported that federal prosecutors are claiming that the Run-DMC star was trying to cut Washington out of a deal, after he had acquired 10 kilos of cocaine, which he was looking to sell on in Maryland.
