LONDON — British postage stamps which often portray the monarch will honor a different Queen in a new Royal Mail series – the veteran rock band that is celebrating its 50th anniversary.

A set of special stamps is being issued to celebrate rock group Queen, featuring images of some of their most popular album covers.

Queen are featured on a new set of stamps from the Royal Mail. That’s Queen the band, not the Queen.

From one Queen to another... rock band Queen are to feature on a series of postage stamps this summer.

Queen will appear on the face of UK postage stamps in July in honour of their 50th anniversary, thanks to the Royal Mail. They will be the third rock band to do so, joining the Beatles in 2007 and Pink Floyd in 2016.The stamps will be issued as a set of 13, featuring eight album covers, four live group shots and a classic group photo.
