Prince Harry once smacked the late Foo Fighters drummer Taylor Hawkins, who tragically died on Friday at the age of 50 – and royal fans are less than impressed. The Duke of Sussex and drumming legend met backstage a Foo Fighters show in 2015, which is where the extremely bizarre encounter occurred.Hawkins spoke on The Howard Stern show last year and claimed the ex-royal slapped him across the face after he complained to him that he was feeling tired before the show.He said the slap was painful but it still "p****ed me off, actually".Recalling the events, he said: "He walked in and goes, 'How are you doing?' I said, 'I can't wake up.

I'm so tired. I gotta play, I can't wake up"."He just goes bam and I went, 'You motherf**ker!' He was like, 'Are you awake now?' or something like that.

I was like, yeah.'"The late musician added: "I got slapped in the face by the prince. That's okay really, if you think about it.

But in the moment, I was like, 'You f**king slapped me, dude."Royal fans have been reacting to the story following Taylor Hawkins' death, describing the Duke as "entitled" and "arrogant".
