Singer Dave Grohl, 53, and Hawkins were seen performing March 20in Santiago, ChileOn Tuesday, the Foo Fighters announced that they were canceling all of their slated concerts during the difficult time.'It is with great sadness that Foo Fighters confirm the cancellation of all upcoming tour dates in light of the staggering loss of our brother,' the band said in a statement. 'We’re sorry for and share in the disappointment that we won’t be seeing one another as planned.
Instead, let’s take this time to grieve, to heal, to pull our loved ones close, and to appreciate all the music and memories we’ve made together.' The band had also been scheduled to play this spring at the the Beale Street Music Festival, the New Orleans Jazz & Heritage Festival and the Boston Calling Music Festival, as well as concert dates in Columbia, Maryland; Raleigh, North Carolina; Daytona Beach, Florida and Charlotte, North Carolina.
