Romesh Ranganathan has slammed racist trolls after they accused his presence as being a “box ticking exercise” and that he was “not British enough” when appearing on Later With Jools Holland.
The TV star and comedian - who was born in Crawley, West Sussex - slammed one keyboard warrior as an “inaccurate c***” after they claimed he was “Indian” and was talking to “African” rapper Lady Leshurr, who was born in Birmingham, and was also on the BBC music programme.
In a post on his Instagram Stories, which has now been deleted, Romesh wrote: “This absolute p**** posted this about Jools Holland talking to me about Lady Leshurr. “Also there were loads of posts by people saying me being on the show and choosing hip hop was a boxing ticking
