Foreign, Commonwealth & Development Office have been questioned for announcing Roman Abramovich's sanctions in the style of a Netflix promo.
The government department, which was created in September of 2020 following a merger of two separate offices, is tasked with safeguarding the UK's national security.
As part of their wider announcement on Thursday morning (March 10) Chelsea owner Abramovich was named as one of seven Russian oligarchs to have been targeted in a £15billion sanction hit.
Although the sanctions didn't come as a surprise, the graphics used on Twitter did - with some pointing out a similarity to streaming site Netflix.
