Ronnie Wood has revealed that he secretly battled a rare and aggressive form of cancer during lockdown. It was the second time the Rolling Stones star, 73, had battled cancer after he beat lung cancer in 2018.
The second time around he was diagnosed with a rare and aggressive small-cell cancer, and he has been given the all-clear once again.
Speaking to The Sun, Ronnie said: "I've had cancer two different ways now. "I had lung cancer in 2017 and I had small-cell more recently that I fought in the last lockdown." Small-cell cancer often arises in the lung but can also affect the prostate, pancreas, bladder or lymph nodes.
