Terence McArthur, 67, pleaded not guilty to the manslaughter of Tracey McArthur in Plymouth, as he appeared at Exeter Crown Court today (May 14).
The charge says he unlawfully killed the child on or before June 1, 1976, Plymouth Live reports. McArthur, of Walker Street, Rochdale, Greater Manchester, was represented in court by his barrister, Lucy Wright.
Judge Peter Johnson set a trial date for July 5 this year, which is due to last seven days. McArthur was remanded in custody until the date of the trial.
