Robert Lewandowski became just the third player, alongside Cristiano Ronaldo and Lionel Messi, to score 40 goals in five consecutive seasons.
The Pole did so from the penalty spot as Bayern Munich saw off Union Berlin. The win keeps them top of the Bundesliga and further cements Lewandowski's place in history.
Only the great Gerd Muller ranks above the 31-year-old in Bayern's all time scoring charts. And Lewandowski is on course to break his single season record which currently stands at 43.
