Seven bizarre contract clauses and demands made by players from Samuel Eto'o to Neymar
Daily Star Sport takes a look at the some of the more peculiar demands. The Brazilian superstar signed a new deal with French giants Paris Saint-Germain in May of last year.Neymar’s bumper contract is worth a reported £26 million a season and includes a very lucrative clause.According to El Mundo the PSG forward earns over £400,000 a month for being ‘friendly, and available to fans.’The clause also requires Neymar to ‘have the courtesy to greet fans before and after each game’.The Italian’s antics made him something of a cult hero during his Manchester City days, and eyebrows were certainly raised when Brendan Rodgers brought him to Liverpool at the start of the 2016/17 season.Balotelli found himself without a club after his contract with Marseille expired in the summer of 2019, and according to Spanish publication Marca he was close to signing for Brazilian club Flamengo. However, in order to put pen to paper the former City striker reportedly wanted Flamengo to sign his younger brother Enock and allow him to play for affiliate club Boavista. After he left AC Milan in 2011, Ronaldinho signed for Brazilian club Flamengo. However, according to beIN Sports the former Ballon d’Or winner insisted that a ‘nightclub clause’ be inserted into his contract. The clause enabled Ronaldinho to enjoy Brazil’s nightlife twice a week, amazingly Flamengo agreed to it.But despite an impressive record of 19 goals and 13 assists in 44 appearances he cancelled his contract in May 2012, citing a dispute over unpaid wages. After Eto’o left Inter Milan in the summer of 2011, he joined Russian club Anzhi Makhachkala. However, Eto’o wanted to live in Moscow rather than Makhachkala and the two cities are separated by more than 1000 miles. As a result the

Ex-Man Utd coach Carlos Queiroz sent off during Egypt AFCON tie after 'losing his head'
Egypt boss Carlos Queiroz was shown a red card during his side's Africa Cup of Nations semi-final clash with Cameroon. The former Manchester United assistant was left incensed on the sidelines in Cameroon after a second-half of what he felt was harsh officiating.Queiroz was shown a yellow card midway through the second period. And Gambian referee Bakary Gassama finally had enough of the manager just six minutes later, showing him a red card for his persistent antics on the sideline.Queiroz had to be held back by his assistants as he gesticulated with the officials, baffled as to why Cameroon hadn't been penalised for an elbow. The Portuguese coach finally made his way down the tunnel after he finished protesting his dismissal.Egypt assistant coach Roger De Sa was also shown a yellow card moments later."Carlos Queiroz wants to fight the referee," one fan tweeted."LOOOOL Carlos Queiroz has lost his head," said one."Carlos Queiroz hasn't been this pissed off since Roy Keane took the head off him in training," added a third."Hahahaha Carlos Queiroz is off his head," another wrote.Queiroz was also angry before the clash had even started, taking aim at Cameroon legend Samuel Eto'o.A video published on the official Cameroon Football Federation (Fecafoot) Facebook page showed Eto'o, who is now its president, using the word 'war' more than once when referring to the game."It's a very unfortunate comment, a very bad approach, a very bad message to the people of Cameroon," Queiroz said."To make this declaration of war before one game [shows he] didn't learn anything when he was in professional football."Football is not about war.
