Robert De Niro is making an exciting announcement about the 2021 Tribeca Film Festival! The 77-year-old actor and the event’s co-founder Jane Rosenthal announced on Monday (March 29) that the festival would be returning this summer with live, in-person screenings.
According to EW, the 12-day festival will act as a “welcome back” for New Yorkers and the entertainment community and is being planned in collaboration with the New York State Department of Health.
While the lineup hasn’t been revealed yet, this year’s Tribeca is set to feature diverse programming and immersive exhibitions in addition to film-focused events.
