Director Ridley Scott is asking people to take part in a unique crowdsourced documentary project to mark this extraordinary year.
By weaving together people's videos from around the world it will create 'Life in a Day, 2020' showing the world in a 24-hour period, which is today.
People can upload their submissions to YouTube, with the final product will be screened at the Sundance Film Festival next year.
In a promo for the project, collaborator Kevin McDonald said everyone can take part: "It is called Life in a Day 2020 and it is a crowd sourced documentary and it is a portrait of the world in a single day. "Anybody and everybody is relevant to this film no matter what your experience is."
