I’ve had it and can still understand what other people are going through,” he told Sky News in June of that year. “I feel particularly for those, for instance, who’ve lost their loved ones but were unable to be with them at the time.
That’s, to me, the most ghastly thing.”Both Charles and his wife, Duchess Camilla, were vaccinated against COVID-19 in February 2021, according to Clarence House.
In December of that year, the duo said they also received a booster shot.“People who are unvaccinated are at least 10 times more likely to be hospitalised or die than those who have had two vaccine doses,” the couple said in a statement at the time. “That is why we urge everyone to get vaccinated and to take up the booster, as we have done ourselves.”The queen, for her part, received a vaccination in January 2021.
