Armistice Day, a day of remembrance and reflection of those we have lost in service, is soon approaching. On November 1, which is also recognised as Remembrance Day, a two minutes silence is observed across the country.
This is intended to take place on the eleventh hour on the eleventh day of the eleventh month. Many services had to cancel the last remembrance day due to Covid-19 restrictions. But services are planned to go ahead this year all across Tameside.
