The Mexico star suffered a sickening head injury during a collision with David Luiz during Wolves ' 2-1 win over Arsenal on November 29.
Jimenez was rushed to St Mary’s Hospital in Paddington and needed emergency surgery for what was described as a ‘major traumatic brain injury and skull fracture (TBI)’.
Since then, the 30-year-old has been under the care of neurosurgeon Sophie Camp at St Mary’s and Professor Tony Belli of the Queen Elizabeth Hospital in Birmingham, as well as Wolves’ medical team at Compton.
