Vladimir Putin’s Russian thugs have reportedly destroyed a lab at the Chernobyl nuclear power plant which processed radioactive waste.Russian troops seized Chernobyl – the site where the world’s worst nuclear disaster took place in 1986 – in the early days of the war.

Now the State Agency of Ukraine for Exclusion Zone Management says the occupiers have damaged the Central Analytical Laboratory which processed radioactive waste, the Daily Mirror reports.

It claims the £6million lab also contained valuable equipment not found anywhere else in Europe. The agency said on Facebook: “Russian occupiers robbed and destroyed the November Central Analytical Laboratory in m.
