Wood Farm on the Sandringham Estate. The five-bedroom farmhouse has been the Duke of Edinburgh’s main residence since he stood down from public duties in 2017 and while autumn at Sandringham usually means shooting parties, this year the Duke is tending to his latest passion: his truffle harvest.

Prince Philip first planted truffles at Sandringham in the mid-noughties after meeting a former cavalry officer called Nigel Hadden-Paton at the Chelsea Flower Show.
