Leicester City striker Jamie Vardy has claimed the Premier League golden boot. The ex-England striker takes the award for the second time in his career.

Last season, Sadio Mane, Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang and Mohamed Salah all shared the prize, with the Egyptian having won it the previous year.

But this time around, none have been able to keep pace with the 33-year-old Foxes hitman. Vardy entered the final day of the campaign, and Leicester's top four shootout with Manchester United, with 23 goals to his name.

That was two more than nearest contender Danny Ings and three more than Arsenal captain Aubameyang. Salah and Raheem Sterling were a goal further back, with 19 apiece.
