The series was absent from a statement of upcoming programming from the CW, which announced renewals for both “Superman & Lois” and “All American: Homecoming” for the 2023-2024 broadcast season. The news about “Gotham Knights” comes more than two weeks ahead of the date that the series is slated to air what would now be its series finale. The program premiered on March 4 and was set to conclude its 13-episode season on June 27.

Veronica Cartwright is set to guest star in The CW‘s upcoming series Gotham Knights.

BreAnna Bell Veronica Cartwright has been added to The CW’s “Gotham Knights” series in a recurring guest role. Cartwright will make her debut as Eunice Harmon on the series in Episode 4 and recur in Episode 7. According to her character description, Eunice seems like the ordinary sweet old lady living out her twilight years in a nursing home. “But that grandmotherly exterior masks a much darker side, one that harbors sinister secrets and has ties to an evil that has plagued Gotham for over a century,” per the CW.   “We are absolutely thrilled to have Veronica as a part of ‘Gotham Knights.’ A veteran of some of the most frightening movies ever made – ‘Alien,’ 1978’s ‘Invasion of the Body Snatchers,’ and Hitchcock’s ‘The Birds’ – Veronica brings to the role of Eunice Harmon a uniquely chilling sense of danger in an otherwise unassuming package,” said series creators Chad Fiveash, James Stoteraux and Natalie Abrams. “The character of Eunice was originally supposed to be a one-off, but we were so blown away by Veronica’s performance, we knew we had to bring her back.”

Natalie Abrams, the entertainment journalist-turned TV writer behind The CW’s Supergirl and upcoming Gotham Knights, has signed with CAA for representation in all areas.

She continues to be repped by attorney Patti Felker at Felker Toczek Suddleson Abramson.Abrams most recently landed a pilot order at The CW for the DC series “Gotham Knights.” She serves as a writer on the pilot alongside Chad Fiveash and James Stoteraux, with Greg Berlanti executive producing.Abrams is no stranger to the DC universe on The CW, having worked as a writer on “Batwoman” as well as “Supergirl.” She has also written for fellow CW show “All American.” She also write a Batwoman tie-in comic book for DC Comics, which is due to be released this spring.Prior to getting into writing for television, Abrams worked as an entertainment journalist.

The CW will further build on its DC comics-inspired programming slate with Gotham Knights, a drama in the works from Batwoman alums Natalie Abrams, Chad Fiveash & James Stoteraux.
