Good Morning Britain presenter Piers Morgan took to social media today to poke fun at The Oscars for selecting three female hosts to present the awards show this year. Piers appeared to take umbrage with the fact that there weren’t any men involved, in a highly sarcastic tweet that he sent out this afternoon. Piers, 56, left his fans divided when addressing The Academy Awards' announcement in a controversial post in view of his 7.9 million followers.The journalist attached a picture of the hosts, which include Emmy-Award winning actress Wanda Sykes, comedian Amy Schumer, and Regina Hall, who became the first African American to win the New York Film Critics Circle Award for Best Actress in 2018.“Great to see three women hosting the Oscars, though I would have preferred many more, at least ten - just so long as no ghastly men are involved!” Piers penned sarcastically alongside the three women pictured.“One question though: will their every past utterance now be subjected to the same scrutiny that Kevin Hart endured?”Piers was referring to the controversy surrounding comedian Kevin Hart when he was asked to host the 2019 Oscars, before being forced to step down when a number of tweets he had sent out in the past resurfaced, which many had branded "homophobic".In the comments section, people were split by Piers’ thoughts on the “woke” choice to have an all-female line-up of hosts this year.“Wanda will be terrific.

It's been labelled “dangerous, misleading and destructive”

“Planet of the Humans”, the brand new Michael Moore-produced climate change documentary, has become the subject of widespread controversy after being accused of being “riddled with falsehoods and misinformation” by a leading climate change activist calling to have the film removed.

"How long do you think we humans have?" asks filmmaker Jeff Gibbs to a series of random people at the beginning of his environmental-themed documentary, Planet of the Humans. That the question has since taken on a particularly sinister edge in the wake of COVID-19 is but one of the many ironies of the film made available for free on YouTube for 30 days, courtesy of executive producer Michael Moore.

Michael Moore is expanding the scope of his Rumble Media banner with the release of an environmental feature documentary. The 140-minute film, Planet of the Humans, was released Tuesday on YouTube, timed to Earth Day on April 22.
