Piers Morgan blasted Chelsea fans who interrupted a pre-match showing of solidarity with the people of Ukraine to chant the name of Roman Abramovich before their Premier League clash against Burnley.Supporters were asked to participate in a minute's applause in solidarity and support to Ukraine and its people, with the country still under attack following Russia's invasion late last month.
But the tribute was spoiled by visiting fans singing the name of Abramovich, who announced this week that he would be selling the west London club after 19 years as its owner.
Morgan, who is an Arsenal fan, responded to the incident at Turf Moor by tweeting just one word: "Classy" - followed by an emoji of someone being sick.
Sections of Chelsea's travelling support decided to chant the name of their owner during the applause, an act which did not go down well on social media or at Turf Moor.
